You have decided to have a picnic on this beautiful sunny afternoon in Santa Monica California. You are going to need a few things for your picnic. To start you are going to need something to carry your food. A good sturdy wicker basket which includes a set of plates, eating utensils, drinking cups and containers for your food is always a nice alternative to a paste board box. The food you choose should be easy to transport and should not be easily spoiled, but really the most important thing is to just take what you like to eat. You will want to have a table cloth for the picnic table, a plastic one would be best as it could be easily cleaned. Just in case the park you choose does not have tables you will want to have a blanket to spread on the ground so you can have a place to sit and spread out your picnic . You could also use the blanket to wrap up in should the day turn cooler.

There are many parks in and around Santa Monica that you can choose from for your picnic during your stay in one of Santa Monica luxury hotel . Many of the parks are equipped with tennis courts and basketball courts some even have a soccer field or a baseball field. Most of the parks are well equipped with the standard playground equipment for the kids. Some of the parks have ramada covered picnic areas and some parks tables are out in the open or under a tree. The parks are beautiful green areas with trees and open spaces to enjoy, they are clean and well maintained. Most of the parks have restroom facilities but a few don’t so choose wisely there you don’t want to have to make a made dash to the nearest fastfood place to use the restroom.

Whether or not the park you have chosen has an ocean view, being right on the coast you should be able to enjoy the gentle breeze that comes in off the ocean.
