I feel like I have been a terrible husband.  You see, over the last couple of years, we have had some financial troubles and I have been unable to take her anywhere for Valentine’s Day.  Not only do I feel bad about it, but I feel like I need to make it up to her.

So over the past year, I have been secretly saving up money for a “special treat” for my sweetie.  You see, she has always dreamed of going to Orlando, Florida, but we haven’t been able to make it there in the tens years that we have been together.  I know that she won’t complain about it, but if it was me, I would be sad about the whole situation – what is the point of having dreams if you never attain them?

But this year is going to be different.  I did some research online to find some Orlando Florida villas that we could afford and I was able to book an Orlando villa for us for an entire week.  I have even arranged with her parents to watch our kids while we are gone so that we can have our first break away from them ever.

I can’t wait to see her reaction – I’ll have to have a tissue ready, I am sure I will see tears of joy.
