A relaxing trip to Miami

Miami is full of fascinating attractions to keep a visitor busy whether they are choosing to travel alone or with their friends and family. If you’re traveling alone you might want to sample one of the boutique Miami hotels that are right along the shore so you can enjoy the sight of the ocean at night and if you choose go for a morning swim without making a trek.
During your stay in this tropical city it’s only natural to do a little sight seeing and there is an abundance of historic landmarks you can explore and if you so choose some fascinating Florida history to take in at the same time. Whether you elect to visit one of the city’s stunning museums or visit an attraction shrouded in mystery there is little chance of feeling let down.
If you aren’t one for the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots and clubs and are seeking refuge you may want to seek out the Barnacle Historic State Park with it’s beautiful view of Biscayne Bay. The Barnacle, a home built in 1891, offers a glimpse into Florida’s past. Giving visitors a glimpse into how life must have been on the frontier of Southern Florida. Today you can visit and sit on the porch enjoying the view before spending the evening indulging in moonlight concerts and old time dances. Here you can experience either a taste of Florida’s history or indulge, on Wednesday nights, in yoga by the sea from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. with Gabriela Goldbaum.
Some of us are drawn to places of mystery or just general oddities and obscure attractions. If you are such a person you will want to make a stop by Coral Castle . No one ever recalls having seen Edward Leedskalnin work on his project and it’s believed to have been built in the 1920’s as a tribute to unrequited love. Carved completely from giant pieces of coral rock; Leedskalnin claimed to have used secrets used to build the pyramids to construct his wonderland. Secrets he took with him when he passed on. It is truly amazing that all of it was built by a man weighing a mere 100 pounds and standing just over 5 feet tall you can’t help but feel impressed and more than a little curious.
