My friend is the master of puns.  He uses them so often that if someone thinks he is about to make a pun, they look at him and go, “don’t even say it.”  A well timed pun is great sometimes but using them all the time can get annoying. Sometimes however he really can get in a good one.  The other day three of us were out looking for diploma frames at a local craft store.  Normally this is a boring trip, but one of my female friends that always have some type of drama going on decided to join us.

As usual, she was complaining about the latest problem in her life.  Apparently someone was mad at her because she had said supposedly said.  It all sounded very grade schoolish, but to her it was a crisis.  Anyway, while we were looking at some university diploma frames, she continued to tell us how that she wasn’t even in town when she supposedly had the conversation about the other person.  My friend picked up one of the frames, held it up beside my friends head and said, “Sounds like you’ve been framed.”She just roller her eyes at him and walked down the isle.  We thought it was hilarious.    At least that time he put his pun to good use.
