I went to college when I was 17. My dad was freaking out when I wanted to go to college and leave the house at 17. Anyways I know it will be very hard to have your daughter not live at your house but it will make her visits so special. Tell her you want her to come home every weekend for dinner. That is what I did and it ended up working out great.

I think putting a backboard behind her bed is a great idea. I know how hard it is to see your daughter leave the house and go to college. I did not want my daughter leaving the house but I knew it was the best thing for her. My favorite time was when she came home and did her laundry at the house and ate all of our food!!

My dad had such a hard time letting me go to college. He tried getting me to go to our local community college so I wouldnt move out of the house. I did not want to go to community college. He ended up geting over the fact that I left the house to go to college and we still talk everyday!

I left my daughters room exactly how she left it when she went to college. I wanted everything to be the same when she came home. I think putting a headboard behind the bed is a good idea if that is what she likes for her room.

It is very hard to see your child go off to college. My son is a freshmen at college right now and I almost died when he left the house. It will get easier dont worry!
