Last winter is way behind us and it’s still a long time before next winter is here but you might be thinking about Winter Kids Clothing despite the sunny weather. That’s because a lot of us spend time in the summer doing the proverbial spring cleaning so we pull out those winter clothes and try to figure out which ones are going to last into a new season.

As we sift through items like kids ski pants, it can be really difficult to figure out if they should be kept for another year or if they should be gotten rid of. The two things to look at here are size and wear. There’s just not the issue of style that you would have with other clothes so you can focus on whether or not they still fit the kids and whether they have any holes or damage that make them worthless for next winter.

Bear in mind that some clothing will last longer than other clothing. For example, kids ski pants that are part of a youth snowboard gear set will last awhile in terms of quality because they’re designed to be used in sports conditions. In contrast, a cheaper pair of ski pants might be too beat up after one season of use to last into another year even if they do fit.
