My Grandmother’s Estate

After my grandmother passed away, I was devastated.  We were very close and I can remember spending countless afternoons with her growing up, sharing stories, and having a great time.  She was not only an inspiration to me, but one of the heroes in my life.  She will be sorely missed.

But unlike most of my relatives who were able to grieve and move on, I had more responsibilities as executor of her estate.  She had decided almost ten years ago that I should be the one to take care of her affairs after she passed away, so I had a lot to do before my time with her was done.

One of the biggest challenges that I has was finding a gold buyer that would be interested in all of the jewelry that she had amassed over the years.  It was the one thing that she collected, and it was definitely a large collection.

I did a search on how to sell gold jewelry online, and was able to find some good resources of where I could find someone that would be interested in taking the jewelry off our hands.  I have contacted them and they are interested in looking at what she has - we should have an answer in a day or two as to what her collection is worth.
