Benefits of a Travel-Sized CPAP Machine

If you have sleep apnea, you probably use a sleep apnea machine to assist you with your breathing at night. Once you’ve gotten used to using it in your home, use of the CPAP machine is no big deal. However, you might find that you’re a bit thrown off when it comes time to taking a vacation. Many people with sleep apnea try to get along without their CPAP tools during their vacations. This can diminish their health and cause the vacation to be less enjoyable. Instead of suffering with the symptoms of sleep apnea at night, you might consider getting a travel-sized CPAP machine to take with you on trips.

Although any CPAP machine can go along with you on the road, the travel-sized CPAP is paricularly beneficial during trips. You can take it on an airplane or easily stow it in a rental car and you don’t have to think twice about it. It won’t take up much room wherever you’re staying, even if you’re sharing space in a place like a youth hostel. And you’ll be able to sleep well at night which is what the point of the machine is all about. You shouldn’t limit yourself to using the machine only at home since your sleep apnea doesn’t stay at home when you leave. Although it’s a small investment, a second (smaller) sleep apnea machine can make your life more pleasant at times when it may matter most.
