I’ve been reading up on life insurance lately and there seems to be an awful lot of life insurance information to wade through.  I am finding some of it confusing and after several hours of on line reading I feel as if my eyes are crossed and everything is written in Latin. I’m a fairly intelligent person, but some of the terminology has me completely baffled.  I was wondering if maybe someone could clarify a thing or two for me.

I know that stranger owned life insurance is a bad thing from what I’ve read, but I’m not really 100% sure why.  Does it have to do with some kind of insurance scheme?  I’ve also read a lot about premium finance theft and I’m wondering if the two are connected. The last thing I want to do when choosing a life insurance plan is something illegal.  And I certainly want to protect myself from theft in anyway that I can. 

I plan on talking to an insurance broker, but I want to go into the meeting with some basic knowledge. Any help or information that anyone could provide would be great.  With so much information out there on life insurance premiums it’s sometimes hard to know what to believe.
