Boys Will Be Boys

There was a time in my life when I was a slightly less than respectable human being. I’m not going to say it was a great time in my life, but we sure had some good times.
Take the time we had my older brother buy us a bunch of airsoft guns at the local sportsman’s store. Most of them were very standard Tokyo Marui handguns, but one of them was a KWA gun that was a lot more powerful. It had a scope and all these boasts of being able to hit accurately from up to a football field away from the target. My brother made me promise that I would follow his instructions on how to operate the gun properly.
My brother, having gone through hunter’s safety, knows all about guns and how to operate them properly. He showed me the protective gear that I was to wear while using my new purchases. He also explained to me the proper way to hold the gun, never to shoot it anything alive, and put the fear of God in me that if I ever shot anything I wasn’t suppose to that I would go straight to jail. I certainly never shot anything alive, and I always used precaution. We were often unsupervised during our game play, but I always took the supervisory role in our group.
