Though it has been a rough week so far, I know that things will be much better once I make it to the weekend.  We are sending the kids to spend the weekend with my wife’s parents, so it should be a nice break for us.

To spice up the weekend and make it even more special, I have decided to rent a portable spa for the wife and I to use over the weekend.  The pricing was very reasonable and the company that I am ordering it from is even going to come set it up.

I just hope that she is happy with the surprise and doesn’t give me the gears for spending money on discount hot tubs instead of putting extra money down on our credit card debt.  But since we missed the opportunity to celebrate our anniversary this year, I just hope she is very understanding and happy with my choice.

I think that I am going to try to figure out some other things that will make our weekend more relaxing, but I will have to try and find the time to check out things on the computer when she isn’t looking.  It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if she knew what was coming, right?

Irrespective of what w do this weekend, the thought of sitting in a cal spa just sound wonderful right now – too bad it isn’t the weekend right now – I could use a break.
