College is getting so expensive now that nobody can afford to waste their education dollars. I think I’d start out by checking with the enrollment counselors from the schools I’m looking at, and narrow it down to my top two or three schools.

I agree that you need to check out any college you’re considering going to, but it might get expensive doing all that traveling. It’s easier to visit the colleges that are close to you, and use the Internet to check out the ones that are far away.

Absolutely true. The time you invest in checking out prospective colleges can mean the difference between a successful educational experience and having one that’s a waste of time.

This is good advice for anyone. No one can make a good choice until they’ve actually toured the campus of several different colleges to see what they have to offer.
