Now, if you were to ask me fifteen years ago what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have said that I wanted to be something cool like a police officer or fireman.  Sure, even a fighter pilot would have been my dream job.  Yes… it would have been fun to fly in a fighter jet…

But, it was not my destiny to attain these childhood dreams, but rather life had a different path for me instead.  After my brief stint in college (where I spent more time partying than studying), I needed to find a job because my parents didn’t want to support me anymore.

After handing out a number of resumes, I took a job flipping burgers and it was the biggest nightmare of my life.  I don’t know if you have ever done that for a job, but it was the most boring and unrewarding job that I ever tried – so I went back out to search for a job.

I applied at many different businesses, and the last one that I stopped at was a place that issued Bail Bonds in Los Angeles.  I didn’t really expect to get the job there, but I thought that it wouldn’t hurt to apply.

A couple days later I went for the job interview and I was offered the job to issue bail bonds right there on the spot.  Though it has only been a couple of days, so far I am enjoying my job – it sure beats working in fast food.
